Delta Family Resource Centre has a broad membership base, mostly from the local community. Once a year, a Members’ Annual Meeting is held. At this meeting, the Board of Directors reports to the membership on the activities and finances of Delta and a new Board of Directors is elected. Also, any major changes might be proposed and discussed at this meeting.
The Board of Directors meets monthly. It is composed of volunteers, some of whom are/were participants in Delta’s programs and some are knowledgeable professionals. The Board’s role is to provide long term guidance to the Organization and to advocate for financial support to Delta. On behalf of Delta, the Board is accountable to the membership, to funders and to donors.

The daily activities of Delta are accomplished by a staff of 20-30 persons and many volunteers. The staff team of Delta is as multicultural as the local community. At the present time, the following languages are spoken by Delta’s staff: English, Spanish, Italian, Hindi, Punjabi, Laotian, Gujarati, Somali, Cantonese, Tamil, Mandarin, Thi, Ewe, Twi, Urdu, Dari and Ga.

Programs and services of Delta are available in some neighborhood schools, community centres and at Delta’s office. Child care at no charge is provided for the majority of Delta’s programs.
