STRATEGIC PLAN
Strategic Directions: 2011‐2014The following are the key areas of commitment and resource allocation for the duration of this strategic plan. There are four strategic directions for DFRC, described below:
Facilitate Systemic Change
Promote awareness and knowledge of systemic issues through community‐led, action oriented initiatives that build on existing strengths and bring together diverse thoughts and perspectives.
Nurture and Transform
DFRC will work with emerging community‐led initiatives, programs and organizations that share a similar vision and values to build upon existing assets. We will also strategically focus our role for each opportunity ‐ our role will include leader, facilitator, incubator, and influencer.
Learn and Innovate
We will use knowledge to improve, transform and be creative in our response to issues and needs. The needs of our clients and staff are constantly evolving thus we need to ensure that we continue to strengthen how we learn from our work and that of others.
Strengthen Our Organizational Capacity
Our staff, Board and volunteers are the source of our strength and we are committed to ensuring healthy relationships and will support thir ongoing growth and development.
